FRANKLIN, Tennessee (3/6/2024) — After 16 years as the development manager who brought some of Middle Tennessee’s most celebrated mixed-use destinations to life, Boyle Investment Company has named Adam Ballash as partner.  “Adam has always had a passion for creating great places, and he’s really invested himself in his craft and his community,” said Boyle Nashville Managing Partner Phil Fawcett. “We take our mission very seriously, and he has the ability to cast a vision, put a plan in place and then assemble the team to build and activate it. He is an integral member of our leadership and we’re proud to have him as our partner.” A native of Eastern Kentucky, Ballash earned a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Kentucky and a juris doctor degree from the University of Louisville before moving to Franklin in 2005. While in night law school, he began his career as an engineering consultant on infrastructure projects but soon transitioned to a role in residential development for a national homebuilding company creating neighborhoods on the front end of Nashville’s boom.
In 2007, he joined Boyle as development manager, where he has since overseen the development of the Berry Farms, McEwen Northside and Meridian mixed-use districts in Franklin, as well as Brentwood’s CityPark and Capitol View in Nashville. Currently, Meridian and McEwen Northside are both in the midst of major additions that have attracted marquee office and retail tenants. The company has also expanded its Franklin footprint with the recent acquisition of The McEwen Building. “When I look at our projects, I think about a level of excitement and access to capital that is rare in this economic environment,” Ballash said. “I have like-minded partners who want to build truly special mixed-use communities as destinations with unique identities, and a company that is well-established and rooted in the culture that the Boyle family has set.
