There will be kids’ activities, free tree saplings, live demonstrations, a photo booth, and more!    Earth Day Festival Nashville will be celebrating Earth Day with a festival at Centennial Park from 11 am- 6 pm. This free event encourages the community to celebrate our planet and inspire environmentalism! Featuring educational speakers, fun activities, live music, local food vendors, and an EV car show, this will be an action-packed day in Nashville. They are even giving away 500 trees, so make sure to stop by this Earth Day celebration!    Farmers Markets These farmers markets provide the perfect opportunity to support your local farmers, kitchens, and artisans! 
  • You can find The Franklin Farmers Market every Saturday morning behind The Factory at Franklin with numerous vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, handcrafted items, and local art.
  • The Nolensville Winter Farmers Market will be taking place every Saturday from 10 am-1 pm at the Mill Creek Church of Christ. Local farmers and artisans will offer fresh, seasonal foods and unique crafts! 
  Farm-to-Table Dinner at GratiDude Ranch GratiDude Ranch is hosting a Farm-to-Table Dinner on April 22nd with Chef Brayden Apple of River Cottage Farm. This 5-course meal features locally sourced ingredients, craft drinks, and live music! This meal is good for the environment and your taste buds!    Garden Festival & Plant Sale The Williamson County Master Gardener Association will be hosting a Spring Garden Festival and Plant Sale in Franklin at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park on Earth Day! Featuring plants and gardening tools for sale as well as educational speakers, craft and food vendors, and more, this is the perfect opportunity to appreciate all that our planet provides!    Harpeth River Cleanup Music City Trout Unlimited invites you to help clean our local streams at their Harpeth River Cleanup on Earth Day in Franklin at 8 am. This is a great way to give back to our planet and community!

  Kindness to the Earth Children ages preschool through 3rd grade and their caregivers are invited to celebrate Arbor Day in Franklin at the Williamson County Public Library on April 29th. From 3 pm- 4 pm, Moozie and Friends from the Children’s Kindness Network will be teaching ways that you can be kind to the earth through engaging stories and activities!   Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary  Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary in Brentwood offers a variety of ways to appreciate Mother Earth!
  • Wildflower Hikes: Celebrate Earth Day with Wildflower Hikes from 9:30 am- 11:30 am! Teens and adults are invited on a hike to admire all of the blooming trees and wildflowers like the Blue-Eyed Mary, Dutchman’s Britches, and Spring Beauty. 
  • Family Camp Out: This overnight camping experience on Earth Day includes roasting marshmallows, an owl presentation, a guided night hike, a take-home craft, and a light breakfast! Make sure to eat dinner beforehand and bring your own tent, smores, and camping chairs! 
  Plant Swap Friends of Bowie Park will celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day with their Annual Plant Swap on April 22nd from 9 am- 11 am at the Bowie Park Nature Center. This free event includes kids’ nature crafts, a tree scavenger hunt, and, of course, a plant swap!    The Rambling at Southall Southall Farm & Inn invites you to enjoy a multi-course dinner under the stars in Franklin on April 21st and 22nd. Led by Executive Chef Andrew Klamar, The Rambling features a meal made from ingredients grown just a few feet away as well as live music from Reed Turchi. Take the time to appreciate our local produce and the Spring air with a night of good views, great tunes, and even better food!    Earth Day Recycling Craft Event The Williamson County Public Library invites you to get creative and make some crafts out of recycled materials on Earth Day from 2 pm- 4 pm.
