For over 50 years, the Brentwood Franklin Woman’s Service Club (BFWSC) has been dedicated to philanthropy and service in Williamson County. Established in 1972, the club is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs International (GFWC), the world’s largest nonpartisan, nondenominational volunteer service organization for women. BFWSC is made up of professional women, business owners, artists, homemakers, and retirees who share a passion for giving back to their community.
The club has played a pivotal role in shaping the area, including partnering with the City of Brentwood to build its first public playground, helping to establish local libraries, and funding scholarships for local female students. Through fundraising and volunteerism, BFWSC continues to support organizations such as GraceWorks Ministries, CASA, The Davis House, Friends of Radnor Lake, and Operation Stand Down, among many others. Their longest-running project is a monthly Bingo event for the residents of Grace Healthcare in Franklin, bringing joy and companionship to local seniors.
