In fall 2021, SMS was recognized by Apple as a distinguished school for continuous innovation in learning, teaching, and the school environment.  Of 130,000 public and private schools in the country, 342 schools received the 2017 Blue Ribbon Award, placing Saint Matthew in the top 0.3% of schools to receive this coveted award. SMS is also home to Mensa’s 2021 Distinguished Teacher of the Year!
