The Franktown Festival of Lights Are you a fan of extreme Christmas light displays? This year, featured for its second year in a row, The Franktown Festival of Lights is featuring a whole mile of dazzling light displays! Located at the Williamson County Ag Expo Center, visitors are able to view the extensive light display from the comfort of their cars. With over 200 light displays and some synchronized Christmas music, this light show will be up from November 22 until December 28. Tickets are $25 per car. The Factory at Franklin’s Trees of Christmas Bring on the Christmas cheer with The Factory and Franklin’s Trees of Christmas! With over 40 real Christmas trees, all decorated by local artisans and merchants, you and your family can soak up some holiday spirit. Christmas Parades This Christmas season, The Franklin Christmas Parade will run on December 7th in downtown Franklin and December 14th in Leiper’s Fork. The Candy Cane Hunt Another annual holiday favorite, the Candy Cane Hunt is the perfect event for your kids to enjoy some Christmas cheer! This year, the City of Franklin plans to leave candy canes throughout Eastern Flank Battlefield Park to be found on December 13th. Your children can not only enjoy the fun that comes with a candy cane hunt, but prior to the scavenge, kids can decorate bags for their holiday treats. Enjoy some hot chocolate, cookies and more as you battle the cold during the hunt. Participants must bring a flashlight, but all other supplies will be provided. Franklin’s Dickens of a Christmas  Middle Tennessee’s largest outdoor Christmas festival, Dickens of a Christmas is held by the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County. Hosted this year from December 11th through December 12th, this festival recreates the time of Charles Dickens using historic downtown Franklin’s charming architecture as the backdrop. Enjoy the historic festivities as you interact with a variety of musicians, dancers, and Dickens characters as they fill the streets.
